Pulborough

A 1960’s addition to a 19th Century Castle. We were given the opportunity to design and refurbish a badly arranged and dated 4 bedroom home. The brief was to be more in keeping with the adjoining castle.

The old joinery was removed together with stud walling etc. The kitchen dining area was knocked into one, with solid oak beams installed together with a painted kitchen. A gothic fire place was installed in place of the modern log burner together with period cornice and larger skirtings and architraves. The bathrooms were replaced and made ensuite. The walls were painted in Dulux welsh flint with off white woodwork.
